2020 Mokelumne River Cleanup
Saturday, October 24, 9:00 am to noon
Electra Rd., Jackson, CA main beach parking lot
Join us October 24 for the annual Mokelumne River Cleanup! Whether you have volunteered for the Mokelumne River cleanup before, or are coming for the first time, your efforts will help improve the water quality of our beloved Wild and Scenic Mokelumne River. We are taking extra precautions this year because of Covid. We strongly suggest you group with those in your family to avoid the spreading of the virus. Wear your mask and social distance.

We will be concentrating our cleanup efforts to Electra Run and the Hwy 49 bridge areas this year:

  • Electra - meet at Vaught's Beach parking lot. Directions
  • BRING: Just bring your family, work gloves, filled water bottle, sunscreen, and insect repellent. Sponsors will provide drinking water for refills and trash bags. Wear good walking shoes/boots and a hat (long pants are recommended). Flotation devices are strongly recommended for children working close to the water's edge.

No pets or alcoholic beverages please.

INFORMATION: Event liability forms must be completed by all participants and presented at sign-in; participants under 18 are welcome but must have liability forms completed by a parent or guardian and must have adult supervision as we do not have the staff to watch over the minors.

Registration is required. Click here to register!
