If you are interested in keeping trees tall, towns small, and rivers wild, the Foothill Conservancy would like to meet you. The Foothill Conservancy is a nonprofit organization in the Central Sierra with a mission to “protect, restore, and sustain the natural and human environment in Amador and Calaveras counties for the benefit of current and future generations.” The Foothill Conservancy is seeking an Executive Director to work with the Board to lead its watershed protection and land-use planning efforts. This 32 hours per week position also serves as the public spokesperson of the Foothill Conservancy and liaison to funding sources, government agencies, and community partners. (Pay range: $23-$27 per hour)
