California Fire Science Consortium Workshops

Nov. 5 – 19, 2020 10am to noon plus hour of Q&A

Sustainable management of California’s fire-prone landscapes using grazing to help keep communities safe. Three separate workshops will be hosted on different topics. Each workshop will be from 10 am to noon followed by an optional virtual networking hour where participants can engage with each other and ask questions.

Topics include:

  • Nov. 5th – Introduction to Wildland Fuels
  • Nov. 12th – Using Grazing for Fuels Management 101
  • Nov. 19th – Community Wildland Fuels Management Projects

The California Range Management Advisory Committee, an advisory body to the California Natural Resources Agency, is co-hosting the virtual workshops with the California Fire Science Consortium.
