Foothill Conservancy 30th Anniversary Founders Celebration
December 3 @ 6:00 pm PST
Like many nonprofit organizations, the Foothill Conservancy has had to cancel its annual fundraising dinner and other major fundraising events such as our summer raft trips due to Covid-19 restrictions on public gatherings this year. We are trying to be creative in addressing our fundraising needs in new ways, such as online events and a summer online auction series.
Since this is our 30th year, we do not want to let 2020 pass without acknowledging our founding members and what we have accomplished over the past three decades. To do this, we are planning a ZOOM Happy Hour event to be held on December 3, 2020. This virtual event will include music by the Wicked Sisters, interviews with some of our founding members, a Community Service Award to Dr. Bob Hartmann and Mel Welsh for their contributions to public health and environmental protection, as well as the promotion of our sponsors. We plan to hold an online holiday auction around the same time, so will promote a few special items, such as an American River rafting trip for a family or household, a rare wine package that includes the first Sierra foothill region wine to score 100 points (Terre Rouge 2016 Ascent Syrah), and a package of amazing shortbread made by Dr. Bob Hartmann himself.
Contributions to the Foothill Conservancy, a Charity 501(c)(3) organization, are tax-deductible to the full extent allowed by law. Our Federal ID number is 68- 0205572. We appreciate your support very much and look forward to “seeing” you on December 3.
