Cleanup Day Rescheduled for April 6

April 6 @ 10:00 am - 1:00 pm PDT

The cleanup has been rescheduled for April 6th.

The Watershed Protection Alliance – a collaborative project headed up by the Foothill Conservancy – is hosting our first clean-up of 2024! We assemble at the South Ave Bridge in Jackson (corner of South Ave and Highway 49) at 10 am Saturday, April 6.

We will be working along Jackson Creek, so warm clothes, boots or even waders are highly recommended. Volunteers of all ages are encouraged to participate. Youth under sixteen years must be accompanied by an adult guardian. Liability waivers will be provided and must be signed to participate. We will provide trash bags, gloves and trash grabbers that let you pick up stuff without bending over. Water and snacks available to hard workers.

Volunteers are the backbone of Amador County. When you volunteer with the Watershed Protection Alliance, we want you to have fun and feel good about the impact you are having right here in your community. To sign up, contact Carolyn at FHC@foothillconservancy.org or 209-223-3508.
