Jean Louise Dahl, a long-time member and supporter of Foothill Conservancy, died on July 21, 2022. She was 96. Jean Louise liked to attend events and was interested in land use issues. She had ties to the Mokelumne River as well; her father worked as a PG&E maintenance worker at the Electra Powerhouse. She was a teacher in Amador County for 30 years before retiring. Over the years, Jean Louise gave much of her time to the community, driving for STARS and volunteering at the Kennedy Mine and the Sutter Creek Visitors Center and enjoyed many worldly adventures with her hiking group.
She had many friends and family and will be greatly missed. Our condolences go to Jean Louise’s family.
